The Bunkhouse is a very quiet secluded place. The kids and pups had a blast exploring through acres of this beautiful mountain property. We made a short drive into Fairplay for lunch, shopping, and a quaint coffee / ice cream shop. Only 25 min. drive into Breckenridge for even more activities. The Bunkhouse was clean and comfortable. It has a full kitchen, big flat screen TV for lots of movies, and oversized leather couch on the second floor overlooking acres of breathtaking mountian scenery. In the winter, bring your tire chains or 4 wheel drive. The host were on site during our stay in their adjoining main cabin. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend Lionhead Ranch for anyone looking for majestic serenity and a comfy down comforter to curl up in and watch the snow fall.

The Bunkhouse was just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is located on 35+ acres and far enough from Fairplay to enjoy the quiet, but close enough to run in for lunch/dinner or other activities. The Bunkhouse itself is very cozy with a wonderful rustic feel but with all the nice conveniences of modern life. The hosts were travelling during our stay but made sure we were taken care of in their absence along with being easily accessible via text. All-in-all we had a wonderfully relaxing stay!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. The bunkhouse was complete with modern amenities while having a Mountain View. Very close to town if you need supplies, with the property being secluded enough to enjoy the outdoors in solitude. Short drive to multiple 14ers, hiking trails, and other outdoor activities. My dog loved the exploring the land surrounding the property. Highly recommend staying here, I will again!
