We were looking to the future and knowing we wanted and needed something to keep us busy as we transitioned into our Third 1/3.  The idea of a retirement or vacation home is appealing, but illusive for most people. Where, what, how and when?  All present a foreboding challenge that sometimes leads to procrastination. A few years of imagining and some jarring events took place before we decided dreaming needed to turn to action. Then in 2012 we purchased 40 acres near Fairplay, Colorado where Lionhead was born and has become our beautiful oasis surrounded by some of Colorado’s most spectacular peaks, sweeping grass prairies and the crystal clear trout streams and lakes.
